Cheney Loses to Hagerman: "Now the Real Work Begins"

Wyoming Congresswoman Liz Cheney, a leader in the Republican resistance to former President Donald Trump, was fighting to save her seat in the House on Tuesday.  She was a huge favorite to lose at BetOnline.

Cheyenne attorney Harriet Hageman defeated Cheney Tuesday night in the Wyoming GOP primary.

"Our work is far from over," Cheney said in her concession speech.

She won her last primary with 73% of the loss.  Cheney said that would have required her to support the former President.

"That is a path I could not, or would not take," she said.

Cheney called Hagerman to concede the race.

"Now the real work begins," she said.
