Sex Trafficker Name Added to Notorious Las Vegas Black Book
The first ever individual not associated with cheating at gambling or Mafia affiliation has had their name logged into Las Vegas' notorious Black Book.
Anyone whose name appears is banned from entering a Vegas casino.
Kendrick Laronte Weatherspoon is the disgraced new entrant and he's not known for cheating casinos or having mob ties.
Weatherspoon has a long rap record that includes a history of violence against women and alleged sex trafficking in Las Vegas Casinos. Weatherspoon was arrested in 2011 for allegedly punching a 15-year-old boy in the face.
Nevada's new US attorney Jason Frierson (pictured below), speaker of the Nevada State Assembly, believes Vegas casinos act as a magnet for this type of activity.
"I think there will be opportunities for us to clarify that Nevada is not a safe haven for sex traffickers.” Frierson said.
Weatherspoon was a defendant in 30 cases in Las Vegas Justice Court between 2000 and 2021. Charges included sex trafficking of an adult, battery by strangulation, drug dealing, domestic battery, kidnapping, and sexual assault. That's just touching the surface.
