247Sports' Blake Brockmeyer predicted that the Georgia Bulldogs transfer Daniels could be due for a "boom" season in 2022

“I say boom,” Brockermeyer said. “The key for JT Daniels in his entire career is staying healthy and I think he can hopefully stay healthy this season. He reunites with Graham Harrell who was his former OC at USC in 2019, he’s got two of his top receivers back at West Virginia, all five of his offensive lineman are coming back and he’s got his tight end coming back.

“So offensively, the key for him is to stay healthy, they’re going to push the ball down the field in their run-and-shoot offense and Graham Harrell is known as a great schemer. Graham Harrell needs to get his mojo back too, he was a hot name for numerous years and they didn’t succeed very much at USC. I think for both of these guys it’s a huge year for JT and Harrell.”

Daniels was sidelined for much of last season with various ailments, not to mention QB Stetson Bennett was too good (leading his team to a championship). Daniels did play in five games for the Bulldogs and started in three.

He completed 68-of-94 passes for 722 yards, seven touchdowns and had three interceptions.
