Michigan with a 51-7 win over Colorado State, Georgia a 49-3 win over Oregon, and Cincinnati missed by a half point cover against Arkansas with its 7-point victory.   These were all losses for the books as each of these favorites were seeing between 60 to 65 percent of the action on the spread.

Eastern Carolina did put up a good fight and lost by just one point against public favorite NC State. The Wolfpack were a -13 point favorite.

Here was the action for the Week 1 afternoon/evening’s national TV games:

UTEP at Oklahoma (-31, 58)

79.5% of $ on Oklahoma -31

87.7% of $ on OVER

The Sooners managed a 32 point win, covering by a single point.  They had some of the most lopsided action of the day.

Utah at Florida (+2.5, 51.5)

54.5% of $ on Utah -2.5

53.9% of $ on OVER

Notre Dame at Ohio State (-17, 59)

59.2% of $ on Ohio State -17

63.2% of $ on OVER

Boise State at Oregon State (-2, 55.5)

60.5% of $ on Boise +2

72.2% of $ on UNDER

Most Overrated CFB Team

Which college football team comes to mind when you think about those that perennially don’t live up to expectations?

The Texas Longhorns? Outside of last year, perhaps the Michigan Wolverines? Or what about the Miami Hurricanes?

"Our crack PR team recently completed a social media study that tracked 'overrated' tweets for every team in the preseason AP Top 25. For example," BetOnline notes.  '"Alabama is overrated' or tweets about Alabama that contain a hashtag such #overrated were included."

The dataset started when the AP Poll was released on August 15, and in total more than 10,000 tweets were analyzed.

The most overrated team in the Top 25, at least according to college football fans on Twitter, is Notre Dame.

They were playing well though Saturday night, at least in the first half, against Ohio State.

The Irish had nearly double the second-place finisher, Clemson. Michigan was a close third, while Georgia and Michigan State round out the Top 5, respectively.

Here is an infograph to accompany the findings from BetOnline:

Ontario Online Poker Would Include Foreign Players

Ontario's position is that Ontario players would be under the umbrella of their local regulatory regime, but their rivals in the U.S., Europe, and elsewhere would be under the oversight of those jurisdictions.

Can I Use Bitcoin to Bet Sports Online From Oregon?

Oregon's only regulated sportsbook is Draftkings as the official sports betting partner of the Oregon Lottery.  But there are still options for betting with Bitcoin and wagering on college sports, something you can't do with DraftKings here.
