DeMarcus Ware Says Cowboys Should Get Jimmy G as he Worries Season is on the Brink: Latest Odds
Former Cowboy and likely Hall of Fame player, DeMarcus Ware, sat down with our friends at BetOnline to voice his opinion that Dallas should sign 49ers quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo as a stopgap for the injured Dak Prescott. Furthermore, he believes Jimmy G. can compete for Prescott's position.
In a BetOnline.ag article penned by Barry Wilner, formerly of the Associated Press, Ware refers to Garoppolo as a "guy that can come in and make an impact and also push Dak once he’s back."
Ware also chimed on the status of Cowboys head coach Mike McCarthy's job security, as well as the top-ranked defense. He said that if "the Cowboys lose eight games, they will get rid of McCarthy."
BetOnline released odds on Prescott's replacement this week and had Jimmy G at 11-1 odds.
