Miami vs. Texas A&M Game Props Week 3: Winning Margin, First to Score, More

The line on Miami vs. Texas A&M was coming in at Aggies -6 or -6.5 depending on the book.  We have seen this line drop to -5 during the course of the week.

The Aggies had a power rating of 81.17 while Miami had a number of 79.44.  Texas A&M also gets 2.42 tagged on for home field advantage.  We end up with a number of 4.14, meaning there has been a 1.5 to 2.5 overlay on this game.  Overlays in the 2 to 3.5 range last week in the NFL saw two favorites cover.

Action was balanced.

The Hurricanes are 1-7 Against The Spread in their last 8 games following a straight up win of more than 20 points.  Miami is yet to face competition like the Aggies just yet.

The Canes did not look good early against Southern Miss.  They trailed for most of the second quarter, then shook off the slow start by scoring the game's final 27 points.

The question remains: What happened to Texas A&M last week losing to App State?

For one, the Mountaineers are a pretty decent team.  But Texas A&M did not play well, scoring just one offensive touchdown, and the team is set to make a quarterback change against the Canes.

LSU transfer Max Johnson is starting for the Aggies.

We are leaning on the Aggies covering this -6 line but another option is the Texas A&M moneyline at -215.  Since 2017, the Aggies are 24-3 Straight Up as a home favorite (86.9%).

Result: Texas A&M covers and wins on the moneyline
