Baylor has owned this series.  We would lean towards a Baylor cover at the -9.5.

Week 7 @ Oklahoma Sooners

Kansas opened as a +6.5 to +7 road dog against the Sooners, a team that got manhandled in Week 6 against the Texas Longhorns.  Oklahoma was falling down the Sagarin Ratings this week but remain within the Top 25 at No. 24. 

This one closed Kansas +7.5 to +10 Oklahoma with the Sooners covering and winning by 10 points.

We ended up with a line that was On the Money to a 2 point Overlay after arriving at a number of 8.04 Oklahoma.

This marked the second straight loss for a Kansas team that started the season 5-0.

Week 6 vs. TCU Horned Frogs

Kansas entered Week 6 ranked number 19 in the nation following their stunning 5-0 start.  They faced another undefeated team in TCU, playing well but ultimately losing.

This represented the Jayhawks third consecutive sell out crowd so expect home field advantage to matter here. 

The power ratings once home field was tacked on still gave us a number of 3.06 favoring Texas Christian. The actual line had gone from Horned Frogs -6.5 to -7. There was an overlay of 3.5 here.

The one comparable game in this line range of 6.5 to 7 with a similar overlay also finished with the favorite covering.

Tennessee was a -6 / 6.5 / -7 favorite vs. Pittsburgh (primarily on 6.5 with brief periods on either 6 and 7 throughout the week).  Tennessee was the road favorite, just as TCU is here, and managed to cover with a 7-point victory.  But this was a close one. 

It shouldn't surprise anyone that Texas Christian would win 38-31 as they are now 10-1 in the series.  The Jayhawks only win during this span was by a point.
