One of the hottest trends holding up in the NFL so far this 2022 season, the -2.5 favorites now winning 11 of 12 games.

To be clear, there are other important factors to consider.  These games have not crossed above the number 3 and Gambling911.com only considers certain books, even if some moved to the -2.5 at any point during the course of the week.

This past week we had the Titans and Chargers continue the trend.

For Week 6 we have a few early possibilities making the cut.

The Jaguars vs. Colts game opened at Indianapolis -2.5 but that one quickly dropped to -1 and -1.5.  The line failing to remain on the -2.5 will likely make this one a nonstarter when it comes to the trend.

The Browns opened as -3.5 favorites but that one hopped past the number 3 to -2.5 by Monday morning at some books.  The three favorites we've observed with a line moving above and below the 3 have also won, but this sampling is still relatively small.

Minnesota vs. Miami is one that bears watching after the Dolphins opened at -1.  The number has hit -3 by Monday morning.

Washington at Chicago is teasing just under the 2.5 at Bears -2 very early in the week.

Arizona -2.5 versus Seattle has stayed steady nearly 24 hours after opening.  The Cardinals look quite enticing early on in standing up to our trend.

The Cardinals have lost two of the last three games versus Seattle but Sagarin gives us a number of Arizona 5.07 using this week's power ratings.   Both teams enter Week 6 with 2-2 records Straight Up.

We are seeing some early signs that Buffalo vs. Kansas City could factor into our trend as the line has moved from Bills -1 to -2, hitting the -2.5 at only a handful of sportsbooks.
