Jets, Giants Super Bowl Odds 2023 Still Offer Massive Payouts

So let's get something straight.  The Giants have one of the best records in the NFL and continue to beat talented teams, yet they still payout - get this - as much as $8500 for every $100 bet to win the 2023 Super Bowl.

Maybe even more shockingly, the Jets are 4-2 after Week 6.  They still have the 9th longest odds to win Super Bowl 57 even after wins against the Packers on their home field.

New York rallied from a late 10-point hole to upset Baltimore on Sunday. Daniel Jones completed 19 of 27 passes for 173 yards and two touchdowns.

Saquon Barkley continues to be a standout but did not necessarily dominate all game.  He finished rushing for 83 yards and one touchdown.

The five wins surpassed the Giants’ total from 2021.

“We have lost so many games like that in the last five years, maybe it’s our time,” Giants co-owner John Mara told The Associated Press.

“We’re not shocked that we find ways to win,” said Daniel Jones, who threw for 173 yards and two touchdowns. “I think we’re confident in what we can do. And we’re confident in our toughness, our ability to compete and find ways to win down the stretch.”

While the Giants won at home against a team favored to make the playoffs, the Jets won on the road against a team that was an early favorite to win the Super Bowl. As a home favorite, the Packers have gone 34-7 Straight Up since 2017 (82.9%).

The Jets haven't reached the playoffs since the 2010 season, the league’s longest active drought.

Breece Hall ran for 116 yards, including a 34-yard touchdown as the Jets won their third straight, 27-10 over the Green Bay Packers on Sunday.

“It just shows that we’re trending upwards,” said Hall, a rookie second-rounder who has quickly become a key playmaker in the offense. “I feel like a lot of people expected that it would be a surprise if we won this game, but we expected to come in and win this game.”

BetOnline was offering odds on whether both the Jets and Giants finish over the .500 mark this season.

DR Congo has 1 point and likely needs a win to have a realistic shot at advancing as a third-place team. Uzbekistan has 0 points and must win to stay alive. A draw probably eliminates Uzbekistan and likely does very little for DR Congo.
