TCU was slaughtered by mighty UGA in Monday night's College Football Playoff National Championship.  Georgia won its second straight national championship.  It was the biggest

TCU's 65-7 loss to Georgia is now the worst loss in a college football title game and the worst loss in any bowl game ever in fact.

The Bulldogs Stetson Bennett threw two touchdown passes and ran for two scores — in the first half.  And it only got worse from there.

The Dawgs were -13 favorites coming into this game but action was mostly balanced at BetOnline.

56.3% of $ on Georgia ML (-500)

53.9% of $ on OVER

The Bulldogs (15-0) are the first repeat champs in major college football since Alabama went back-to-back a decade ago.

“We wanted our kids to play without fear,” Georgia head coach Kirby Smart said after the game. “All year I told them, I said, ‘We ain’t getting hunted guys, we’re doing the hunting, and hunting season’s almost over. We’ve only got one more chance to hunt,’ and we hunted tonight.”

Amazingly this was a Bulldogs team that lost nearly half its defense last year to the NFL Draft.

An even bigger loser in this one might be famed Houston area furniture magnate Jim "Mattress Mack" McIngvale, who bet heavily on the Horned Frogs.

He bet over $3.1 million on TCU, which plays in Fort Worth, four hours north of Houston.

McIngvale said he made a $1.5 million bet with DraftKings Sportsbook, a $1.5 million bet with Caesars Sportsbook and a $131,000 bet with Wynn Sportsbook – all on the Horned Frogs and all losers.

"It'll take me about five seconds to get over this," Mattress Mack said after the loss sunk in. "Looking forward to the next adventure."
