NFL Futures Bets Updated January 20: Giants Still Rated Lower Than Raiders, Browns
The all-important Sagarin Ratings still list the New York Giants below teams that failed to end the season above the .500 mark. These include the Raiders, Browns, Packers, Patriots and the 9-9 Dolphins.
New York gets no love from Sagarin or the oddsmakers. Their payout to win the Super Bowl would be the largest of the remaining teams at $2800 for every $100 bet.
Gambling911.com was unable to arrive at an edge for the Giants-Eagles division playoff game based on recent line monitoring and analyses, thought there are plenty of head-to-head trends worth observing.
Philadelphia has won the last three while New York won the previous two. The Eagles, though, are 8-2 Straight Up in the last ten. The Giants are 4-2 Against The Spread using the current 7.5 number. The Giants are 6-3 Against The Spread in the last nine using the 7.5 number.
