The sharps most certainly got down on Philadephia early.

A few gamblers were able to get the Eagles as the +1 underdog before the line quickly moved to Philadelphia -2.5.

The Chiefs beat Cincinnati with a final seconds successful field goal.

The Bengals had beaten KC in three previous meetings over the past two seasons.

Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes, playing with a sprained ankle, ran for a first down in the final seconds of Sunday night's.

Mahomes was hit out of bounds by Bengals linebacker Joseph Ossai, which resulted in a personal foul penalty that moved the field goal closer for Harrison Butker to kick with three seconds left in the game.

Butker kicked a 45-yard field goal to help Kansas City beat the Cincinnati Bengals 23-20.

Jalen Hurts led the Eagles earlier in the day to their first Super Bowl since winning it in 2017.

Hurts had one of Philadelphia’s four rushing touchdowns and the Eagles soared into the Super Bowl, forcing both of San Francisco’s quarterbacks out of the game with injuries and beating the wounded 49ers 31-7 in the NFC championship game on Sunday.

Hurts had a modest game by his standards after a season in which he was a finalist for MVP. He was 15-of-25 passing for 121 yards and ran for 39, improving to 16-1 as a starter this season. The Eagles (16-3) lost two games that he missed with a sprained right shoulder.

The Chiefs have won two Super Bowls.  They beat the Minnesota Vikings in Super Bowl IV in January 1970, and beat the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl LIV in February 2020.

This will mark their 5th Super Bowl appearance and third in the last four years.  The Chiefs have played in four prior Super Bowls: I, IV, LIV, and LV.

The Eagles are moving on to their fourth Super Bowl in franchise history after the win over the San Francisco 49ers. he Eagles previously appeared in Super Bowls XV, XXXIX and LII.  2017 marked the first year they won a Super Bowl.
