Popular Gaming Figure Passes Away in London

The founder of FightClub Casino, Axe Casino and BitKingz Casino, Lars Rosenberg, passed away overnight Saturday while attending ICE London.  He had resided in the gaming jurisdiction of Curacao and was active in the Malta iGaming scene as well.

Friends were shocked by the news on Sunday.  Rosenberg was quite young and a cause of death had not yet been publicized.  He had been a regular fixture at many of the yearly gaming events.

FightClub Casino was billed as featuring top slots and games online and speedy cash-outs as well as no deposit casino games, all of which featured a boxing and combat sports theme.

"We have been involved for years in boxing management and boxing promotion, and realized that the only ones who always overbid the breweries for ring floor sponsorship and advertisement have been online casinos," Rosenberg recently told an online industry publication.

"Also, there is a long common history between boxing and gambling as all the big fights of Mihammad Ali, Mike Tyson, Oscar de lay Hoya, Floyd Mayweather and others have been at land based casinos like MGM Grand or Caesars Palace at Las Vegas and Atlantic City. So it would have been quite stupid to not do this step and to bring this symbioses to the next level online."

Rosenberg, often referred to as "one of the most remarkable individuals in i-Gaming", had planned to offer a unique series of well-known boxers streaming the official WBC slot Ring of Riches at Fight Club Casino to support the charity organization of World Boxing Council named World Boxing Cares.

Axe Casino incorporated a Viking theme.

The industry was quick to flood Rosenberg's social media platforms with their condolences.  At the time of his passing, Lars had over 100,000 genuine Instagram followers

One wrote: "I cannot believe the news, Lars you were such a nice genuine person that actually really cared around the people around you. RIP buddy you were most certainly one in a million."

Another offered: "So shocked hearing this news. A legend has passed away.  RIP and all strength to family and friends."
