The below infographic is based on geotagged Twitter data from Opening Day through Wednesday. The sampling tracked more than 170,000 negative sentiment tweets, hashtags, and direct keyword phrases from each MLB fanbase about the new rules changes.

For example, looking at all the Atlanta Braves tweets that included phrases such as, "I hate the new rules," "I hate the pitch clock," "I hate the rule changes," "the new rules suck," "the pitch clock sucks," "new rules ruining baseball," etc.

The percentage of total team tweets that included complaints about the rules change was used to determine where each fan base ranked.

Chicago Cubs fans have complained the most, but interestingly, the Chicago White Sox fans have complained the least.
