One-third of the Thomas Somach posse consisting of radio sports talk show host Fred Wallin, sports handicapper Dale Stickel (the Philadelphia Prince) and, of course, our beloved super human reporter Somach, was listed as being deceased on an internet central database.
There's just one problem, Mr. Wallin is still alive and kicking.
One has to wonder what Somach is doing searching his buddies databases at 1 am in the morning, but more so, why this information is so dead wrong...pun intended.
Somach placed around a dozen texts to his 75-year-old friend to make sure the information was not accurate. He's still alive and trying to figure out how to block Somach on his Blackberry flip phone.
Wallin's credits include co-hosting KABC radio's "Sportstalk" program in the 80's. More recently he appears as a host on Byline. If he doesn't appear this weekend, we'll know Somach is a witch.
Or maybe Wallin is back from the dead and wants blood....Somach's blood... for uncovering this gaffe like only Somach can do. Word on the street is that Somach texted all of Wallin's family members and friends offering his condolences before confirming Fred was still alive.
Stickel, long time Gambling911 readers will recall, probably should be dead. His crazed neighbor on multiple times tried to mow him down with his automobile.

More reason to consider the Under in Saturday's game: Houston Astros career statistics vs. Jon Gray: They are just 8 of 40 at bats without a home run. Gray currently owns a 3.00 ERA.

Storms Brewing in KC
The Braves-Royals game could encounter some delays on Saturday with severe weather forecast in the Kansas City area during the afternoon game time.
