Chicago White Sox vs. Detroit Tigers Betting Preview, Picks - June 3

The SportsHub guys will be on the Tigers and the Over in that game hosting the Chicago White Sox.  The number of cappers on both is not a large number but the consensus is there.

Michael Lorenzen will start for the White Sox.  Lorenzen was charged with two runs (zero earned) over 6 2/3 innings on Saturday in a no-decision against the White Sox.  He allowed five runs in the game previous and won prior to that.

Chicago White Sox career statistics vs. Michael Lorenzen are  (.232).  In other words, he's been pretty solid against the White Sox current lineup.  The one home run was courtesy of Yasmani Grandal, who is just 1 for 14 against him.  That homer is the only time he's been able to hit off of Lorenzen.

Dylan Cease gave up four runs in four innings Sunday against the Tigers.  He did not factor into the decision.  Cease had a win his prior start.

Cease has allowed 23 of 96 at bats versus the White Sox batters (.240), which is pretty good.  He has permitted six home runs over that time.  However, Jonathan Schoop has had two homers off Cease and is not at his best currently (.214 with zero home runs).  The other home runs were by players who have otherwise had a poor showing versus Cease along with Jake Rogers, who is just .156 this season.  Granted he has six home runs thus far.

The Tigers are 8-21 in the last 29 meetings in Chicago.

Gambling911.com will be going against the consensus here and taking the UNDER 8.5.
