Big name streamer xQc is leaving the Twitch platform to play exclusively on Kick as part of a 2-year, $100m contract with the streaming service.

The day the deal was announced, xQc told Bleacher Report "Kick is allowing me to try and do things I haven't been able to do before. I'm extremely excited to take this opportunity and maximize it into new creative and fresh ideas over the coming years."

Gamers are leaving Twitch, albeit slowly, in response to recently implemented policy.

The xQc signing comes just days after poker player Lex Veldhuis referred to the Kick service as "toxic as fuck".

Veldhuis says he will deal with the changes over at Twitch as he refuses to join Kick.

He claims the Kick streaming platform is "powered by a gambling platform that does all the wrong things" and that "also the main streamers there are knuckleheads I want nothing to do with".

xQc reportedly had been contemplating the move for month and that Twitch's new gambling move had little to do with his decision.

Just two days ago, another big name streamer declared "it's time".   Amouranth included a not-so-subtle video of her making the move from Twitch to Kick.

Prague Poker Champ Accused of Cheating in Event That Ended With a Bad Beat

Martin Kabrhel has been accused by Dan Smith of cheating during this year's World Series of Poker $250,000 Super High Roller Bowl.  That incident got mostly downplayed in light of Chris Brewer winning the event courtesy of a crazy bad beat.

Smith got eliminated and had some choice words for Kabrhel, the first part of which was difficult to make out.

The second part was not.

"I hope you get barred," Smith said as he stood over Kabrhel.

"I will be what?" Kabrhel asked with confusion.

Smith repeated himself.

"I hope you get barred."

"What does it mean?" Kabrhel asked.

"Banned," Smith said.

"Why?"

Smith elaborated further in an interview on his way out.

"Martin's antics at the table are worse than anyone that I've played with," he said.  "People were speculating, there were a lot of discussions whether he was marking cards.  Uhm, whether or not that's true, playing with him is unbelievably unpleasant.  He's rude, he takes the full thirty seconds every time.  Last night playing with him I felt something not quite kosher was going on."

Smith added that he "can't know for sure, but I think it's ridiculous that he's allowed to play in the tournament."
