2023 NHL Draft Betting Odds Updated for June 28

Round 1 of the 2023 NHL Draft will take place in downtown Nashville Wednesday night June 28 with ESPN carrying the live broadcast beginning at 7 p.m. ET.

Just like we saw in last week's NBA Draft, the first pick is a forgone conclusion as 17-year-old Connor Bedard is expected to be taken by the Chicago Blackhawks.

Adam Fantilli is a heavy favorite to go No. 2 overall, but picks 3-5 are a little less clear, at least according to our odds below.

We’re also offering odds on which players will be selected in the Top 10 picks tomorrow night. Finally, we’ve got over/under draft positions for 20 players, and head-to-head matchups for which player will be drafted first.

Our hockey experts don’t expect Matvei Michkov, the Russian phenom who may not be eligible to play in the NHL for a few years, to be selected in the first five picks despite vaulting up draft boards in recent days, but we do have him heavily favored to go within the Top 10.
