Dodgers-Rockies Under 12?

(June 29, 2023) - While everyone and their mother will be on the OVER 12 in the Dodgers-Rockies game. We here at Gambling911.com are going to live dangerously on the UNDER 12.

Gamblers like the OVER because Rockies starter Chase Anderson (0-2, 5.29 ERA) is a horrid 10.13 ERA across five June starts. Dodgers career statistics vs. Anderson are .213 (16 for 75 with just 3 home runs).

The UNDER is 6-2 in the last 8 meetings. Three of the last four in Colorado have remained UNDER this number of 12.

Emmet Sheehan (1-0, 1.50 ERA) starts for LA.

The problem, of course, is what the Rockies have given up in recent games. At least five runs in 8 of their last 10. Three of those games they gave up double digit runs. One of those games they allowed 25. Ouch!

That being said, half of the Rockies last ten games have stayed UNDER 12.

Logan Allen Starts vs. Royals

(June 28, 2023) - Logan Allen does not have a win in his last two starts. He was taken out early against the Athletics after 89 pitches but only allowed two hits. He was tagged for five runs in three innings by the Padres.

He is 3-2 with a 3.65 ERA on the season thus far and will face off against a Kansas City team that is just 22-57.

Austin Cox will start for the Royals.

The Guardians are 22-9 in the last 31 meetings in Kansas City.

Cleveland is a -138 favorite here and we will be on the Guardians.

Mike Williams Continues to Roll

(June 27, 2023) - Capper Mike Williams has won another one, this time with his LA Angels pick as they went on to win against the Chicago White Sox as just a -133 favorite. He's won seven of his last ten now following a nine-game consecutive win streak.

This was hardly an easy victory. Reid Detmers allowed a single run in seven innings, but the Angels other run came at the end on Shohei Ohtani’s major league-leading 26th homer.

Saturday's Cubs-Cards Total Set at 14

(June 23, 2023) - This is a Chicago Cubs team that's gone 8-1 in their last 9 overall coming into Friday's game.

The Cardinals aren't as good but both starting pitchers are solid.

The Cubs Justin Steele has won his most recent start against a solid Baltimore team. Steele (7-2, 2.71 ERA) had not won in his previous four starts prior to hitting the 15-dai injured list. He won in his return from the IL after allowing two runs in five innings Saturday.

He's allowed 15 hits on 46 at bats versus the current Cards lineup. Tommy Edman is 3 for 7 against him. Paul Goldschmidt, currently averaging .287 with 13 homers on the season, is 4 for 10 against Steele with one home run. In their last seven games, the Cardinals have scored 5 or more runs in five of those.

Adam Wainwright (3-1, 5.56 ERA) logged a quality start in Saturday's victory over the Mets, surrendering three runs on seven hits over 6 1/3 innings. He surrendered three runs each in his two prior starts.

Wainwright has not been impressive against the Cubs. The current lineup is .282 (42 of 149) with six home runs allowed. Four of those homers came courtesy of Ian Harp (.265), who has had five home runs so far this season.

The Cubs are scoring like crazy of late. They've enjoyed at least 7 runs in six of their last nine games. They haven't scored fewer than three in their last ten.

St. Louis has scored five or more runs in five of their last seven games.

But the total is crazy too. The number opened at 13.5 and creeped up to 14. That is criminal.

Expect this one to go OVER that number but we won't be betting it.

Miami -190 vs. Pittsburgh

(June 23, 2023) - Just a few weeks ago we would have gotten this line under -170. In fact, it technically opened at -163.

Jesus Luzardo is 6-5 with a 4.09 ERA and is following a classic win-loss-win-loss pattern, coming off a win against Washington his last start.

He gave up six runs in the prior loss to the Mariners and five in his loss before that one against the Padres. Following the pattern, we might expect something similar on this day.

The Pirates having been scoring many runs, so we'll avoid the OVER here.. and avoid this one altogether.

Braxton Garrett Goes Up Against Pirates

(June 22, 2023) - Braxton Garrett (3-2, 3.88 ERA) will face off against the Pittsburgh Pirates on Thursday.

Pittsburgh comes into this one on a nine game losing streak. It doesn't help that they currently have the second worst bullpen after the Colorado Rockies.

Through 14 appearances (13 starts), the Miami Marlins lefty owns a 3.88 ERA with a 1.22 WHIP, and his 5.5 K/BB ratio is top five in baseball.

Joey Wendle is four-for-six going up against opposing Pirates pitcher Mitch Keller. The Pirates pitcher is capable of going deep into the 7th inning, which could help reduce the potential of Pittsburgh's lowly bullpen ruining any gains he may have made.

Marlins are 6-0 in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing record, 11-3 in their last 14 vs. a team with a losing record and 7-1 in their last 8 home games vs. a right-handed starter.

Mariners vs. Yankees Under?

(June 21, 2023) - Seattle has allowed 3 or fewer runs in six of their last ten games while scoring no more than four runs in six. Meanwhile, the New York Yankees have scored no more than 3 runs in nine of their last ten games.

Luis Castillo (4-5, 2.73) did have a rough outing on June 10 but that one was sandwiched between two games where he gave up just two runs and one run, respectively.

New York Yankees career statistics vs. Luis Castillo are just .198. Kyle Higashioka has the lone home run against him but is just .238 on the season with three homers.

Jhony Brito has been recalled from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre.

The line on this game has come down from -180 to -150 Seattle.

Everything suggested an UNDER but the Jhony Brito factor is pretty unpredictable coming into this game.

Another Go at the Rangers?

(June 21, 2023) Martin Perez will start for the Texas Rangers in desperation mode having lost his last two. Perez' last start was a tough luck loss whereby he only gave up two runs and three hits over 6 innings.

His allowed just one unearned run over 7 innings back on June 6.

Perez is more than capable of pitching into the 7th inning.

White Sox career statistics vs. Martin Perez are pretty scary though at .423 (22 of 52). He's only allowed them one home run at least.

Michael Kopech allowed one run over 4 1/3 innings on Friday in a no-decision against the Mariners. He had a no-decision his prior start where he tossed five shutout innings against the Marlins.

Texas Rangers career statistics vs. Michael Kopech are just .214 against him.

We will be passing on this game today. The total had moved from 9 to 9.5.

Should I Bet on Garrett Whitlock Today?

(June 21, 2023) - Garrett Whitlock yielded two runs over seven innings on Wednesday in a win over the Rockies and allowed two runs -- one earned -- over 6 1/3 innings in defeating the Yankees on Friday. He's 4-2 with a 4.38 ERA.

Sonny Gray will be starting for the Minnesota Twins. He's 4-1 with a 2.37 ERA. He has not had a win in several weeks.

Gray pitched just four innings against the Tigers on Thursday, giving up two runs and striking out three. Prior to that, he logged a quality start in a loss to the Guardians, giving up three runs on 10 hits over 6 2/3 innings.

The Red Sox career statistics vs. Sonny Gray are .302 (16 of 53).

The Twins' 27.1% strikeout mark is the highest in the league with a right-hander on the hill.

Mike Williams, G911 Get Hosed With Rangers

(June 21, 2023) - Mike Williams, the top leader board capper in the MLB at G911 Sports Hub, was on the Texas Rangers to beat the Chicago White Sox on the road. Gambling911 was on the Under 8.5.

By the time all was said and done, neither play came through.

Texas at times did take the lead and the Under was happening right up to the 7th inning.

Zach Remillard singled in Elvis Andrus with the go-ahead run on a play that was overturned by video review, and the Chicago White Sox rallied with three runs in the eighth inning to beat the Texas Rangers 7-6 on Tuesday night.

Diego Garcia, second atop the leader board for MLB plays, has slumped in recent days. He's lost his last four picks.

Garcia is on the Marlins +121 and Cubs -103 Wednesday.

Williams 9-1: Tuesday Night on the Rangers

(June 20, 2023) - Following what can be described as a rare loss Sunday, capper extraordinaire Mike Williams came through big against Monday night with his Mets play vs. the Houston Astros.

Tuesday night he's on the Texas Rangers playing in Chicago against the White Sox with Texas still available at -140. Gambling911.com won win the Rangers Monday night.

Nathan Eovaldi starts for the Rangers. He's 9-3 with a 2.59 ERA. He took a tough loss after allowing three runs in seven innings Thursday versus the Angels. Before that he had a win but gave up four runs to the Rays.

Eovaldi is more than capable of pitching beyond 7 innings.

One thing that concerns us is White Sox career statistics vs. Nathan Eovaldi are .326. They've hit 15 of 46, but just two home runs at least.

Tim Anderson .250 has contributed heavily to that .326 number having hit 5 of 9 off of Eovaldi. He does not have any home runs this season.

Clint Frazier has done the most damage at .571 with four of seven hit off of Eovaldi and a home run. He has no homers this season and is playing just barely above the .200 mark.

Dylan Cease (3-3, 4.31 ERA) starts for the White Sox. He has not had a win in his last four starts and yielded two runs in 5 1/3 innings Thursday in a no-decision versus the Dodgers. Cease registered a quality start in a no-decision against the Marlins prior to that.

Texas Rangers career statistics vs. Dylan Cease are just .116 (5 of 43 at bats).

The White Sox are 1-5 in their last 6 games vs. a right-handed starter and 1-10 in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600.

The Rangers are 10-2 in their last 12 vs. a team with a losing record.

Williams is on the Rangers -128, Gambling911.com is on the UNDER 8.5

James Paxton Takes on the Twins

(June 19, 2023) - James Paxton was charged with one run (zero earned) over six innings on Monday in a no-decision against the Rockies.

He's had a little extra rest with his start pushed back to today courtesy of a Saturday rain out.

Check this out: The Twins offense sports the third-lowest wOBA and second-highest strikeout rate against a left-hander pitching.

In a relatively small sampling of 62 at bats and just six Twins hitters, they have gone 20 of 62 against Paxton, however. They have only hit one homer off him at least. Byron Buxton is 3 for 8.

The OVER is 5-0 in this series.

Does Andrew Heaney Get Back on Track Today?

(June 19, 2023) - The Texas Rangers starter has struggled with control his more recent starts. We were waiting on a starter to be announced for the White Sox. That will be Tanner Banks. Texas has a nice price, as low as -125. Most books had the Rangers at -130.

The White Sox have been striking out at a rate of 25% while Heaney's strikeout rate is 24.4%. The White Sox also holds the third lowest walk rate in the MLB.

Heaney (4-4, 4.05 ERA) is in desperate need of a win for a team that is 44-27 but winning just 40% of its games of late. He did allow just one run on five hits over his 3 2/3 innings of work but was not a factor in the decision. Prior to that, he gave up four runs -- three earned -- in five innings. Prior to that, he had to be pulled in the fourth after a couple of hits and a couple of walks versus the Mariners.

Heaney is capable of pitching into the 7th inning. White Sox career statistics vs. Andrew Heaney are .282.

Tim Anderson is 5 for 14 but you don't have to worry about him homering as he has none against Heaney or anyone else this season for that matter.

Elvis Andrus has contributed pretty heavily to that .282 number. He has three homers against Heaney but has just one on the season and has played poorly up to this point.

Yasmani Grandal is 2 for 4 versus Heaney.

Rangers career statistics vs. Tanner Banks is 1 of a small 13 sampling.

We would note, the Rangers are 9-25 in the last 34 meetings in Chicago. The White Sox though are just 31-42. They've won just three of their last ten games overall. The White Sox have only scored more than four runs in two of their last ten games.

Bryce Miller, Mariners Come Through

(Sunday June 18, 2023) - Bryce Miller did well for us Sunday though we are kicking ourselves just a little for not taking the UNDER on this game versus the White Sox. As noted below, five of the last six have stayed UNDER the current total of 8. Make that six of the last seven now. This one stayed Under three right up until the bottom of the 8th inning.

Miller was terrific in Sunday's victory over the White Sox, allowing just one run on four hits over his seven innings of work.

Mike Williams finally dropped one with his Astros play, though it was a good one right up until the bitter end.

Do not forget to continue monitoring Diego Sanchez as well. His Orioles play at the Chicago Cubs did come through on Sunday as well, along with the Boston Red Sox -GM2 ML-142.

Should I Back the Mariners and Bryce Miller Today?

(Sunday June 18, 2023) - Bryce Miller takes to the mound for Seattle where he faces off against a White Sox team with the 4th worst Weighted On Base Average (wOBA) against right-handers. The Mariners were priced as low as -150 Sunday morning.

Miller (4-3, 4.06 ERA) rebounded from a two game skid by racking up six strikeouts over six innings of one-run baseball versus the Marlins his last start.

The Mariners are 13-3 in their last 16 games vs. a starter with a WHIP greater than 1.30.

Lance Lynn (4-7, 6.75 ERA) surrendered five runs -- four earned -- in five-plus innings Tuesday in a loss to the Dodgers. He is without a win in his last three starts.

He's allowed just 16 hits in 80 at bats versus Mariners hitters (.200). None of those were home runs.

The White Sox come into this game 10 under the .500 mark and winning just 40% of their recent games. Seattle is playing .500 ball pretty consistently.

Five of the last six have stayed UNDER the current total of 8.

Capper Mike Williams Just Keeps on Winning

(Sunday June 18, 2023) - If you've been following the G911 Sports Hub leaderboard, you might have seen that Mike Williams of the SportsCapping Group has been absolutely unstoppable of late.

Last night he brought us another winner with this pick on the Phillies (-159).

Braxton Garrett Comes Through Again on Saturday

(Saturday June 17, 2023) - A big win for the Gambling911.com crew as the Marlins Braxton Garrett fanned eight while allowing one run over six innings in defeating the Nationals on Saturday.

Garrett also struck out nine last time out, and he has a 23/2 K/BB ratio in three starts this month.

Brayan Bello on a Roll

(Saturday June 17, 2023) - Boston's Brayan Bello owns a 2.80 ERA, holding opponents to two or fewer earned runs in seven of those outings. He recently allowed just two runs against the Yankees in the Bronx, pitching 7 innings. Saturday he was slated to start against them at home. However, this game will likely be postponed due to inclement weather.

Braxton Garrett Smells Blood

(Saturday June 17, 2023) - There is value at -170 today as Braxon Garrett takes on the Washington Nationals, who are just 7 for 32 at bats against him.

Over Garrett's past six starts, he has produced a 2.25 ERA and a 0.91 WHIP with 41 strikeouts in 32 frames. In this span, he's surrendered more than two runs only once.

He's come off a tough luck no-decision versus the White Sox after pitching 5 1/3 scoreless frames only to be pulled and have Chicago score three runs.

Did we mention that the Nats have only won two of their last ten games overall?

Bobby Miller 3-0 with an 0.78 ERA for the Dodgers Starts Tonight vs. Giants

(Saturday June 17, 2023) - Brad Miller has gone 0.78 ERA and 0.83 WHIP with a 9.0 K/9 rate across four starts since getting called up by the Dodgers from Triple-A. Remarkably, he was able pitch 16 straight scoreless innings. This included a combined 12 shutout frames against the New York Yankees and Philadelphia Phillies his last two starts.

It does help that the Giants are just 2-9 in the last 11 meetings in Los Angeles and 7-20 in the last 27 meetings between these two teams.

LA is the -165 favorite but they are winning just 40% of their games of late compared to the Giants winning 80% of theirs.

Alex Wood starts for the Giants with a 4.80 ERA.

(Saturday June 17, 2023) - Diego Garcia is among the hottest of the Gambling911 Sports Hub cappers in Major League Baseball at the moment.

Today, Garcia will be on the Pittsburgh Pirates in the evening game in Milwaukee.

Mitch Keller (8-2, 3.41) will start for the Pirates. He has only allowed 10 hits off of 45 at bats (.222) versus the current Brewers line up. Keller is coming off a big win, limiting the Mets to one run and two hits over seven innings for a victory Sunday. He's won three of his last four.
