Is PrizePicks Legal in Washington State?
PrizePicks is among the fastest growing fantasy sports sites. It is NOT currently available in Washington State. You can find some other great betting sites for real money payouts accessible from the state.
The PrizePicks site focuses on the creation of a lineup of prop selections similar to that of a parlay prop selection in real money sports betting. You will select between four and seven player criteria (i.e. XYZ to score UNDER X number of points). All of your selections must win in order to receive the payout. In sports betting, these payouts can be substantial, but they are difficult to hit. Let's face it, going 4-0 is hard enough, but 7-0 is extremely difficult.
If you like player props, here is a sampling of some Mariners player props offered by BetUS for the night of July 21.
Bryce Miller Total Outs:
Over 15½ Outs -130
Under 15½ Outs -110
This prop bet required a nominal risk to receive a small reward. In this case the -130 means a $13 bet pays out $10. You will get that $13 bet back provided it's a winner along with the $10 profit. It's important to realize that with sports betting you are able to bet a single player. It is not required to make multiple selections as part of the bet.
Other sample player prop bets appear below.
Bryce Miller Total Strikeouts:
Over 5½ Strikeouts +115
Under 5½ Strikeouts -155
The Over 5.5 pays $11.50 on a $10 bet. The reward is greater than the risk when you see a + sign.
Bryce Miller Total Earned Runs:
Over 2½ Earned Runs -130
Under 2½ Earned Runs -110
Ty France Total Bases:
