Little League World Series: Media, Pa vs. Needville Texas Betting Line

Pennsylvania will take on Texas to kick off this year's Little League World Series.  Media, PA is the -130 favorite here with Needville, Texas coming in at Even odds.

Media, Pennsylvania vs. Needville, Texas LLWS Odds

PA defeated Washington D.C., 2–0, in the Mid-Atlantic Regional championship to earn a coveted LLWS berth.  They look to make history by becoming the first Pennsylvania team to win the LLWS since Levittown in 1960.

Media, from the Philadelphia area, will play the Southwest Regional champions from Needville, Texas, on Wednesday at 7 p.m. If Media wins, they move on to face the Midwest Regional champions from Fargo, North Dakota.

Five teams have won the LLWS from the Philadelphia region, the last being Toms River, New Jersey, in 1998.

Needville went 4-0 at the Southwest Region tournament in Waco to advance.  They went 4-0 at the Southwest Region tournament in Waco to advance.

“Thanks to all the fans that came out to support our boys as they punched their ticket to the LL World Series,” the league said on their official Facebook page. “Thanks to all that watched on TV and sent all the heartfelt congratulations. No doubt these boys are talented but having all the support pushed them over the top!”

Last year’s Little League World Series featured a team from the Houston area as well, Pearland. That group of youngsters finished the tournament as a U.S. semifinalist.  Hawaii would ultimately go on to win.
