Corbin Burnes has been solid against LA, allowing just 16 hits in 66 at bats with only one home run.
Burnes hasn't had a win in his last four. He surrendering five runs on eight hits over his 5 2/3 innings of work against the White Sox his last start and did not factor into the decision. He logged a quality start in a no-decision against the Pirates the start before that. Burnes is capable of pitching deep.
The Brewers have won six of their last ten games, dropping their last two to the Dodgers.
Lance Lynn has been hit a little harder when facing the Brewers current lineup. They are 23-for-78 against him with three homers, two by Christian Yelich.
Lynn will come off of this one having three straight wins. In his last two starts, he allowed a total of two runs to score. He, too, is capable of going deep.
Six of the last ten meetings have gone UNDER the current total of 8.5.
The Dodgers haven't lost in their last ten. Six of their last seven starts have remained UNDER the 8.5 total.
Milwaukee has six games in their last ten where they have not scored more than three runs. They've allowed no more than four runs in half of their last ten and Burnes we think should follow that trend.
