North Texas as an underdog since 2018 is 6-26 Straight Up.  They've been an underdog at home 10 times since 2018, losing 8 of those outright.

California as an away favorite is only 4-5 Straight Up.  They've only won eight away games since 2018.

North Texas is 2-8 against the Pac-12. The most recent victory was against Oregon State at home in 1995.

We are finding an overlay of 1 to 1.5.

Cal opens on the road against a Group of Five opponent for the first time since 2004 (Air Force) and takes on a team with a new head coach, Eric Morris.

The Golden Bears, who lost seven of eight to finish last season, are trying to end a six-game road losing streak. The Mean Green won their last five home games last season.

North Texas is expected to start quarterback Stone Earle but QB Chandler Rogers should see some decent playing time as well.

Cal's quarterback Sam Jackson V is a transfer from national runner-up TCU who saw limited action last season.
