The Purdue Boilermakers are a 3-0 consensus pick on the Gambling911 Sports Hub in their Friday night game against Wisconsin. Purdue is a +6 dog here.
Should I Bet on the Purdue Boilermakers This Week?
It's all about Wisconsin’s ground game vs. Purdue’s run defense. RBs Chez Mellusi and Braelon Allen have a combined 523 yards and eight TDs through three games for the Badgers while their quarterback Tanner Mordecai’s has had two touchdown runs leading to a league best 10 TDs on the ground.
Purdue, meanwhile, has dealt with an inconsistent run defense, which allowed 11 yards rushing at Virginia Tech two weeks ago. They went on to give up 271 yards and four touchdown runs to Syracuse QB Garrett Shrader last week.
Still, the Gambling911 Sports Hub cappers are on board this week with Purdue at +6.
MF Picks has gone 4-2 with his last six offerings, Matt Fargo is 5-2 with his last seven picks, Al Grant has gone 4-1 over his last five selections. Robert Ferguson has just joined the club with a pick on Purdue.

Two cappers are on Virginia as a +8.5 or +9 pick in their Friday night game against NC State.
Among them is Sports Central with their 6-2 record in their last eight.
The line on this game has dropped from NC State -9.5 to -7.5 since Wednesday (a 48 hour period) at FanDuel, and -10 to -7.5 at DraftKings. Betting action is 59% to 63% on NC State as of Friday morning.
Antonio Clary, Tony Muskett, and a few other Cavs players are injured ahead of this game. One would think the line might be moving in the opposite direction.
Virginia thus far has had the (dis)pleasure of having to take on two tough programs their first few weeks of the new season with Maryland and Tennessee. Those were crushing defeats. A Week 2 game against the James Madison Dukes was a loss by one point.
James Madison was favored to win OVER 7.5 regular season games in 2023 compared to NC State being favored to win OVER 6.5.
The Cavaliers have not reached 100 rushing yards in any of their three games.
Sagarin has NC State rated at No. 61 (72.55), just a few notches up from James Madison at No. 76 (68.49). In other words, the Wolfpack aren't that much better than James Madison.
We too will be taking the plunge here and jumping on board the UVA bandwagon (if there is such a thing) at +7.5.
