The administrator of a popular sports betting Facebook Group has warned of the latest alleged fraud taking place in the wagering community.  This one involves a dead man who suddenly came back to life.

"Anyone seen this guy posting these fake posts slips need to know that Carl passed away years ago. This is “Vegas Sal” going by another alias again posting fake tickets on a dead man’s FB account," John Hahn of Bettor Win Sports Betting Facebook Group and owner of BettorWinSports warned.

So if you want to bet picks posted by a zombie, go for it.

While we can't independently confirm these postings are being made by a gentleman using the moniker "Vegas Sal" (we'll trust John on this one), we can confirm Alabama defense attorney Charles Salvagio passed away in November 2020.  The Carl Salvagio Facebook page routinely includes posts beyond the date of his death referencing the various cases he's been involved with.  This particular Facebook account was created (or altered) on March 9, 2022.

Followers of the Facebook group were quick to respond.

"Wow that’s crazy I just looked him up and he has a crazy bio Sad he passed - as soon as I saw he went to a paid discord I knew something was up."

Hahn says "He (Vegas Sal) runs this scam every football year and the amount of people that fall for this is staggering."
