NFL Stats Leaders, Awards Entering November 2023
We witnessed a whopping five NFL quarterbacks go down with injuries in Week 8, and some of those setbacks (not all of them) are impacting the Week 9 lines.
Matthew Stafford hasn't been ruled out, but the line reflects that the oddsmakers at SportsBetting.ag don't expect him to play. And the Vikings, without Kirk Cousins, are bigger underdogs than they would've been against Atlanta.
Here's how three injuries (and 2 benchings) alter the spreads:
- Matthew Stafford at Packers (Rams +3.5 without him, Rams -1.5 with him)
- Kirk Cousins at Falcons (Vikings +4.5 without him, Vikings PK with him)
- Tyrod Taylor at Raiders (Giants +1.5 without him, Giants PK with him)
- Desmond Ridder vs. Vikings (Falcons -4.5 with Taylor Heinecke, Falcons -3.5 with Ridder)
- Jimmy Garoppolo vs. Giants (Raiders -1.5 with Aidan O'Connell, Raiders -2 with Garoppolo)
Additionally, we'll be at the halfway mark of the season after this week, but let's go ahead and take a peek at the latest odds for the NFL season awards as well as the season-long stats leaders below.
Notes:
- DPOY is a close race, and Danielle Hunter moved from 75/1 to 40/1
- Dan Campbell is now the lone favorite for COY, and Pete Carroll is now fifth after moving from 50/1 to 16/1
- Jahmyr Gibbs went from 40/1 to 10/1 for OROY, and Will Levis is back on the board at 14/1
