Top-ranked Georgia (10-0, 7-0 in SEC) eyes a 28th consecutive victory Saturday afternoon, as the Bulldogs visit the No. 21 Tennessee Volunteers (7-3, 3-3). The Vols have won 14 home games in a row.

Game time at Neyland Stadium in Knoxville is 3:30 PM ET.

Georgia torched the Rebels of Mississippi, 52-17, last week, rolling to 611 yards (311 air yards, 300 ground yards). Quarterback Carson Beck (18-of-25, 306 yards) had two touchdowns.

Tennessee, whether or not caught looking ahead to the Dawgs, found itself spanked by the Missouri Tigers, 36-7, in Columbia. UT was blanked, 23-0, in the second half.

Georgia is a 10½-point favorite (total at 59), according to college football odds.

Moneyline was unavailable as of this writing.

Georgia is leading the all-time series, 27-23.2, winning the last six.

Dawgs No Flaws

There’s not a whole lot the Georgia Bulldogs don’t do quite well, both on offense (39.8 points per game, sixth in NCAA) and defense (16.6 ‘surrendered’ points/game, seventh in nation).

UGA has scored at least 30 points in its last five games.

Quarterback Carson Beck, he of the aforementioned big game against Ole Miss last week, has been terrific (3,022 passing yards, 18 touchdowns, five interceptions) to date.

Brock Bowers and Dominic Lovett have a combined 77 receptions and close to 1,100 yards.

Running back Daijun Edwards (691 yards, 10 touchdowns) scored twice against the Rebels.

It’s no secret that Georgia, eying a third national title in a row, is as good as anyone. It has been leading the polls 22 weeks in a row

Those Jekyll/Hyde Vols

The Tennessee Volunteers are a different animal in Knoxville, at least they’d better hope that’s the case. The Vols went very quietly at Mizzou last week, but are a perfect 5-0 at home.

Tennessee is scoring more than 32 points per game, obviously with a tough test against UGA.

Quarterback Joe Milton III (2,283 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, five interceptions) has had some accuracy issues this season, but with a friend in wideout Squirrel White (49 receptions, 609 yards, two touchdowns).

Jaylen Wright (848 rushing yards, two touchdowns) leads a backfield that’s solid.

Bet the Bulldogs

It’s been another season of dominance by the Georgia Bulldogs, with no reason to suggest that won’t continue. Georgia is the 5-2 (+250) co-choice (with the Michigan Wolverines) to win the title, as per college football championship odds.

The problem as it pertains to the Tennesee Volunteers, is finding a way to slow down Georgia. Tennessee’s defense has been susceptible much of the season, and the visiting Dawgs provide no respite.

Lay the number with the Georgia Bulldogs -10½. Go under, too.
