The reigning champions Georgia Bulldogs opened as a -14 favorite but this one has moved all the way up to -21.

Florida State owns a 19-game winning streak that ranks second nationally, and Georgia has won 45 of its past 47 games.

Georgia is making its 27th straight bowl appearance, the longest active streak in the nation.

QB Carson Beck needs 262 passing yards for 4,000 this season.  He is set to return to Georgia next season.

Georgia head coach Kirby Smart was asked about the status of All-American tight end Brock Bowers, who is recovering from an ankle injury.

"His legacy is his a tremendous athlete, great toughness, I've never seen a kid come back from that injury like that," Smart said. "He kind of changed the culture and the work ethic around our offense. The way he has practice is incredible, he's been a machine. The standard he set there will impact our roster for a long time."

Smart would not answer as to whether Bowers would play on Saturday. Sources have indicated Bowers playing in this football game is not out of the question.

Bowers has 56 catches for 714 yards and six touchdowns this season. He ranks second in school history in touchdown receptions (26), third in catches (175) and fifth in receiving yards (2,538).

The Seminoles, already missing their star quarterback to injury, will be without backup Tate Rodemaker.  He just entered the transfer portal.

Freshman Brock Glenn is set to make his second straight start. Glenn passed for just 55 yards in the Louisville game when Rodemaker sat out due to a concussion.

"Definitely excited to see (Glenn) take the step from his first start to his second start," Florida State head coach Mike Norvell said. "A lot of confidence in what he'll be able to do, what he'll be able to accomplish. ... I know Brock is going to be fired up and excited for the opportunity that he has."

But Glenn was hardly inspiring in the win over Louisville and will have less weapons to work with here.

Other Seminoles sitting out include top running back Trey Benson (905 rushing yards, 15 total touchdowns), receivers Keon Coleman (50 catches, 11 for touchdowns), Johnny Wilson (41 receptions) and Jaheim Bell (39 catches), All-America defensive end Jared Verse (team-best nine sacks). Defensive tackle Fabien Lovett also is headed for the NFL, but it was unclear if he would compete against Georgia.

Nearly 90% of the action was still on UGA even with the line heading towards 21.
