The Miami Dolphins have the misfortune of having to play in a frigid Kansas City Saturday night.  Temperatures at game time will hover around zero degrees.  These temperatures are not suited for anyone but the Dolphins are a warm weather team.  The temperatures in Miami this weekend were in the 70s.  The line on this game was KC -4.5.

NFL quarterbacks tend to have a tough time gripping the ball in severely cold conditions.  This is something that will likely affect passing yard prop bets.

The Kansas City Chiefs starting quarterback Patrick Mahomes was coming in with a passing yards total of 247.5.

Mahomes completed 21-of-29 passes for 245 yards and one touchdown in the Chiefs’ 25-17, Week 17 win over the Bengals.  He sat out in Week 18.

Miami Dolphins starting QB Tua Tagovailoa was coming in with a passing yards total of 229.5.

Tua Tagovailoa completed 17-of-27 passes for 173 yards, one touchdown, and two interceptions in the Dolphins’ 21-14, Week 18 loss to the Bills, adding seven yards on his lone carry.
