Getting the Boston Celtics at -7.5 at home against a red hot LA Clippers team is hardly a bargain but this game comes a day after LA beat the Raptors on the road.

Opening Line Trend

We get a number of 5.81, which is pretty much accurate in terms of the opening line of Boston -6.5.  That number has moved to -7.5.  While that may represent a slight overlay, the Clippers will come into this game having beaten the Raptors last night. They're far from the comfort of their Los Angeles home.

Recent Head to Head

Boston is 3-1 at home against the Clippers.  LA kept those losses within 6 with one exception and that game was lost in overtime.

Boston decapitated the Clippers in LA the last time these teams met on December 23.

Back to Back

LA played in Toronto and won last night.

Recent Performance

LA has been hot and it's a tough pill to swallow taking the opposing team at -7.5.

The Clippers have won eight of their last ten games and are looking for a 5th straight here.

The 120.8 points per game the Celtics average are 8.8 more points than the Clippers allow (112.0). The Clippers are shooting 49.6% from the field, 4.5% higher than the 45.1% the Celtics’ opponents have shot this season.

Boston are winners of seven of their last nine.

Jayson Tatum is averaging 27 points, 8.4 rebounds and 4.4 assists for the Celtics. Jaylen Brown is averaging 21.6 points, 5.3 rebounds and 3.5 assists over the last 10 games for Boston.

The Celtics are also 20-1 on the season at home.
