Quite a few of our model indicators did not come to fruition yesterday.  We are grateful not to have offered more than one pick (a loser with the 76ers).  Not surprisingly, a whole lot of dogs came through nicely.

Pacers @ Celtics

The Celtics have destroyed the Pacers at home in their last three meetings in Boston.

The Celtics didn't exactly play like a team venting in their win against New Orleans last night.  Boston got annihilated at home by the Clippers in their previous game.  Despite this, they've still won seven of their last nine games.  Aside from last night's 6-point victory over the Pelicans, the other six wins were by more than the current -8 point spread vs. Indiana.

The Pacers have cooled off a bit too, winning half of their last ten.  They come into this one winners of three straight games though.

Tyrese Halliburton is likely to play but will probably be limited for the Pacers.

Jazz @ Knicks

The Jazz are winding down an excruciating road trip and it showed in their bad loss in Brooklyn last night.  We would have expected that at Madison Square Garden.  Utah has actually had the Knicks number in recent meetings, but it is also Utah's third game in four nights and the Knicks are a much better team than they've been in past years.

Each of the Knicks last three home wins has occurred by at least 15 points and Utah has been hurting on the defensive side of things.

Raptors @ Bulls

The Raptors have won four of the last ten in this series, all at home.  In Chicago, the Bulls have beaten the Raptors by 6 or more points in three of their last four meetings.  The line here is Bulls -6.5.

Chicago returns home after playing six games out of their last seven on the road.  They actually did manage to go a respectable 4-3 over that stretch, including a win in Toronto.

The Raptors have lost nine of their last ten, including their last five.  They've only won six games on the road.
