Sportsbooks made out like bandits over this past week, and with good reason.  Some 123.4 million people tuned in to this year's Super Bowl.

This number was far above the previous record of 115.1 million set by Fox's broadcast of Super Bowl 57 in 2023.

The total viewership figure was comprised of all TV broadcasts including CBS, CBS Sports, Spanish-language channel Univision, the alternate broadcast on children's channel Nickelodeon, and the Paramount+ and NFL+ streaming services.

On CBS alone, however, the total tally of viewership still stood at 120 million, which is the largest audience in history for a TV show on a single network.

For sportsbooks like BetOnline, this year's Super Bowl meant another shattered record already for that company's 25 years in business. In fact, company representatives confirmed it was their most wagered on event yet three days prior to the big game.

Love her or hate her, music icon Taylor Swift had plenty to do with this year's success courtesy of her fairytale romance with KC Chiefs star Travis Kelce.  Already we are hearing that BetOnline will look to continue offering Swift/Kelce prop bets post Super Bowl.  They had taken bets on 89 Swift related props.

For those wondering, she was shown 11 times during the game, which was well over the total of 5.5. Four in the first half and seven in the second half and OT. Yet, TayTay was not shown until the second quarter.

She also was seen kissing Travis Kelce after the game, but there were no visuals of either of them saying “I love you” on the field after the game, which leads us to one such post-Super Bowl prop:  When will Travis Kelce pop the question?

This year's Super Bowl was so massive that BetOnline advised it had still been in the process of grading some Super Bowl props as of Monday night.  For example, the company noted that CBS shockingly never announced the MVP on the postgame stage. So, currently the prop bet on who the MVP thanked first is being graded as no action.  This was among the most searched for props on the Gambling911.com website.
