No, it wasn't a tennis match you were watching.

Bayern Munich got embarrassed Sunday by VFL Bochum 3-1.  The match would near a conclusion with fans throwing tennis balls onto the field.

The match was momentarily suspended but resumed play.  Needless-to-say, this had quite a few punters freaking out.  All bets will be graded accordingly as a result of the match concluding.

Coming into this match, Bochum had lost only one in ten Bundesliga home games this season, while Bayern Munich won 70% of their away fixtures in the division since August.

Anything other than a win for Bayern Munich over Bochum on Sunday had many pundits believing that Thomas Tuchel would be sacked.

The shift now focuses on Bayern Munich next manager odds.

Jose Mourinho has been linked with taking over as Bayern Munich's next permanent manager at 8-1 odds.

BetUS Panel of Experts Onto Bayern Ahead of Lazio Match

"Despite being mismatched, Lazio has reason for hope given the current form of their opponents. They’ve scored just 4 goals in their last 4 games across all competitions. Bayern were embarrassed by Leverkusen in the biggest game of their season in the last game. This comes not long after losing to Werder Bremen on their home soil in the Bundesliga. Even with Bayern not in top form, Lazio will need all hands on deck to have a chance to pull off this upset."

Bayern Munich put zero of their 17 shots on frame in a shock loss to Lazio in their last matchup.

Prior to Sunday's matchi, Tuchel issued a damning message to players.

'You're not as good as I thought, then I just have to adapt to your level,' according to Sky Germany.

Perhaps they didn't get the memo.

Tuchel was announced as the new head coach at Bayern Munich just under a year ago, replacing his former player Julian Nagelsmann, who was dismissed.
