First it was Doug Polk and his self tanner, now it's Phil Hellmuth and his facial masks.

$17 Masks By Phil Hellmuth

Hellmuth announced he will be selling his branded face masks for $17.  The $17 represents his 17 World Series of Poker bracelets.

Fact Check: FALSE

PokerNews appears to have fallen for the elaborate April Fool's joke.

Not only do the masks bear Hellmuth’s recognizable logo, but they also sport various brand logos associated with Hellmuth including ARIA, Luxon Pay, 3Bet Premium Poker Clothing, and perhaps most surprisingly Sour Patch Kids, seemingly Hellmuth’s candy of choice.

“In honor of my 17 bracelets, I’m going to be selling these masks for $17 each,” Hellmuth said in an announcement video. “Go to PhilHellmuth.com or go to the ARIA store and buy the new Phil Hellmuth mask.”

The joke appeared to be lodged at fellow pro Isaac Haxton, who Hellmuth blasted back in January for wearing a mask at the tables.  Hellmuth seemed to believe that Haxton was doing so to hide his tells.

More Fake Stuff

Doug Polk's fake tan might not have been an April Fool's joke, but the self-tanner appears to have disappeared.

The Naru Organics domain name is now available, minus Polk's tanning cream.

We went to eCosmetics where the tanner is shown as being "out of stock".

The last Instagram post was made back in November of 2022.

Polk first announced his self-tanner in January of 2022.

"As of this week, after over a year and a half of product development, my wife and I have officially launched the best self tanner on the market."
