Trump Poll Numbers Sagging
(April 15, 2024) - Biden has extended his lead over Trump from one point in March (39 percent to 38 percent) to four points in April (41 percent to 37 percent), according to a recent Reuters/Ipsos survey of 833 registered voters.
Biden has mostly erased the 5-point lead held by Trump in March in a NYT/Siena poll. That poll showed that Trump and Biden are virtually tied as of April 15, with Trump holding a one-point lead, 46 percent to 45 percent over the incumbent.
Polls Show Biden Pushing Ahead
(April 11, 2024) - A number of polls now show Biden moving ahead of Trump.
A recent Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted between April 5 and April 9 show Biden at 31 percent and Trump at 27 percent. The poll also shows that some 22% of registered voters have yet to pick a candidate. Some were leaning toward third-party options or might not vote at all.
A Marquette poll conducted two weeks prior showed Biden up four percentage points as well.
