New Orleans Hornets vs. San Antonio Spurs odds opened at Spurs -8 and the line has remained steady at SBG Global and everywhere else for that matter.

The San Antonio Spurs have had a few days off since defeating the New Orleans Hornets earlier this week. The Spurs won't get much time off the rest of the NBA betting season and they are just barely ahead of Portland in 7th place in the Western Conference standings. The Spurs routed New Orleans 106-92 on Monday. The Spurs have scored at least 104 points in their last three games and they will need to keep the offense going as they play 15 games in the next three and a half weeks.
"It's going to decide our season," Tony Parker said. "We have a lot of big games and a lot of back-to-backs. We have a good opportunity. We've played pretty well the last two games, so hopefully we can keep it going."
San Antonio has owned New Orleans at home, winning 10 of the last 11 meetings. New Orleans really needs a win on Friday since they are five games out of the last NBA betting playoff spot. They are not playing well though, having lost five of their last six. Without Chris Paul the Hornets are simply not a playoff contender. "As a team, I don't think we have a good rhythm. We're not playing fluid basketball," forward David West said, "Basketball is a rhythm game and everybody has to be on the same page as far as feeling good and confident about what we are going out there to do." The Hornets could fall below .500 if they lose on Friday.
