Our friend Bobby Babowski has been on a scorcher over at the G911 Sports Hub and today he is on the Arizona Diamondbacks.

We are taking a slightly different path here.

Both starting pitchers are decent enough but have failed to pick up wins over their last two starts.

Neither team has that good a bullpen, so going with the Under is a bit of a risk here.

Jordan Montgomery had pitched well in his first two starts of the season, but was tagged for six runs against the Dodgers.  Prior to that he yielded three runs — two earned — in seven inning versus the Cardinals in an April 24 start.

He's been scorched by Santiago Espinal (6 fo 16 with an RBI) but Espinal has been mostly nonexistent this season with his .169 ERA and a single homer.

Reds starting pitcher Graham Ashcraft was charged with two runs (zero earned) over six innings on Wednesday in a no-decision against the Padres.

He's allowed 9 hits on 38 at bats versus this Arizona lineup.

Half of the last ten games in this series have stayed Under the current 9 total, including yesterday's game.

Arizona hadn't scored more than 3 runs in six of their last ten games.  Cincinnati has not scored more than 2 runs in their last five games overall.

The Under 9 looks good here.  Yes, we worry about the bullpen.

The only other G911 Sports Hub capper backing the Under is Skylar Lockhart, and he just shot into the Top 10 of our customized MLB Leaderboard at No. 10.
