Here are some good starting pitcher vs. team roster head-to-head stats you might find helpful for Sunday's games.

Twins @ Blue Jays

This series has stayed Under the current number of 8 in six of the last ten head-to-heads.

Making his 2024 debut, Alek Manoah gave up seven runs — six earned — in four innings Sunday against the Nationals.

Bailey Ober for Minnesota is 3-1 with a 4.42 ERA.

Ober allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out seven in Tuesday’s loss to the Mariners.  Prior to that start, Ober won despite allowing four runs in six innings Wednesday against the White Sox.

We expect Ober to be solid in this one though our confidence level is not tremendously high.

Astros @ Tigers

Houston is 6-4 in this series but Detroit pummeled the Astros early on Saturday.

Houston Astros career statistics vs. Jack Flaherty have just 7 hits in 37 at bats with 3 RBI's (.194).  Jose Altuve has his number, hitting 3 of 7 with an RBI.

Flaherty yielded two earned runs and struck out six batters in six innings on Monday in a loss against the Guardians.

He recorded a career-high 14 strikeouts over 6 2/3 scoreless innings on Tuesday in a no-decision against the Cardinals in his prior start.

Justin Verlander allowed seven runs on eight hits over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday.   But this isn't his norm.  He allowed seven runs on eight hits over five innings in a loss to the Yankees on Tuesday and, before that, didn’t give up a run over 4 1/3 innings with seven strikeouts in a no-decision against the Cubs.

Both these starters we can see getting into the 7th inning and giving up few runs.  But a concern here is that Houston bullpen.  The Under is tempting to be sure.  Let's see if the G911 Sports Hub top cappers might agree.

Yankees @ Rays

Tampa Bay Rays career statistics vs. Luis Gil have had just 2 hits in 19 at bats.  Sure it's a small enough sampling but this is really good. Gil allowed one run on one hit in six innings in a win over the Astros. He scattered just two hits over 6 1/3 innings of shutout. baseball (.242).  Alexander allowed two earned runs and struck out seven batters in four innings of work against the White Sox on Monday.   The prior start he allowed six hits and three earned runs while striking out four in Tuesday’s loss to the Brewers.

Guardians @ White Sox

We realize the White Sox seem to have Cleveland's number here but Logan Allen doesn't have a win in his last three starts and this one affords an excellent opportunity.

Chicago White Sox career statistics vs. Logan Allen have 12 hits in 47 at bats against him but 7 of those came courtesy of Andrew Vaughn and Vaughn has struggled this season.  He comes in with a hitting average of just .204.

Michael Soroka is 0-4 with a 6.34 ERA coming into this one.  Soroka was charged with four runs (three earned) over five innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Rays. He allowed two earned runs and three hits over 4 1/3 innings in the White Sox loss to the Twins and two runs on four hits in five innings in a no-decision against the Twins.

Five of the last ten in this series have seen no more than 6 runs scored.

Josh Naylor is 3-for-4 against him.

This is definitely a lean in favor of Cleveland. The line moved from -145 to -162.
