Yankees @ Giants Betting Preview

PITCHING PROBABLES: Yankees: Cody Poteet (0-0); Giants: Logan Webb (4-4, 2.74 ERA, 1.26 WHIP, 61 strikeouts)

BOTTOM LINE: The New York Yankees visit the San Francisco Giants looking to extend a three-game road winning streak.

San Francisco is 29-29 overall and 17-12 at home. The Giants are 19-3 in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Yankees recalled RHP Cody Poteet from Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre. The 29-year-old righty allowed just one run over six innings against the Guardians back in mid-April when he made his Yankees debut. He'll likely be starting until Gerrit Cole (elbow) is ready to make his season debut.

Logan Webb struck out eight Mets across seven innings on Sunday. He allowed three hits and walked just one.

A win seemed all but cinched before Tyler Rogers imploded in the ninth inning.

The Giants do have the 9th worst bullpen at the moment while the Yankees have fared especially well versus right-handers.

San Francisco has scored just four runs in their last three games, though they did score 6 or more runs in six of their prior seven games.

The Yankees look like the better team here.  Still a little tough to pull the trigger with a relative unknown in Poteet and a decent pitcher in Logan.
