The Athletics vs. Red Sox game featured two of our top cappers at the G911 Sports Hub on the Over 10, so this one is definitely worth exploring.

Both the Boston Red Sox and the Oakland Athletics are looking for a series win with a victory on Thursday.  The Red Sox are 7-3 in this series with just three of the last four meetings resulting in Over 10 runs scored.

PITCHING PROBABLES: Athletics: Luis Medina (2-3, 4.37 ERA, 1.54 WHIP, 25 strikeouts); Red Sox: Tanner Houck (7-6, 2.68 ERA, 1.04 WHIP, 106 strikeouts)

The line of Red Sox -220 tells us just how lopsided a matchup this is expected to be.  The Athletics come in at +181 and the Over/Under opened at 10.5 runs.

Medina gave up just one run in five innings to get a win over the Orioles on Saturday. He allowed just one run in his prior start as well.

Houck was charged with three runs — one earned — in 3 1/3 innings Friday versus the Yankees.

Boston has a 50-41 record overall and a 21-24 record in home games. The Red Sox are ninth in the majors with 106 total home runs, averaging 1.2 per game.

Oakland has a 13-34 record on the road and a 35-59 record overall. The Athletics have a 22-9 record in games when they have more hits than their opponents.

Thursday's game is the sixth time these teams square off this season. The Red Sox are ahead 4-1 in the season series.

Boston has scored 5 or more runs in 5 of their last 8 games overall.  Oakland has given up five or more runs in five of their last eight games.
