Payout odds for the 2024 Home Run Derby go as high as $8000 on a $100 bet (Alec Bohm to beat Teoscar Hernandez or Alec Bohm to beat Jose Ramirez).

League of Derby Winner features odds of the American League at -120 and National League at -110 with the AL favored to have the most home runs.

Pete Alonso pays the most at $300 for every $100 bet, but it's still competitive as four other MLB players come in with single digit odds.

Alonso, the Mets first baseman, has 18 homers this season. He will be making his fifth straight Home Run Derby appearance.

Alonso has donated portions of his previous Derby prizes to the Wounded Warrior Project aiding wounded service members and Tunnel to Towers, which supports first responders and their families.

"It's something I'm very excited about and I'm happy they asked me because it's an opportunity to give back to the game," Alonso said. "I want to inspire the youth, get more kids out there playing baseball across the U.S."

The Home Run Derby began in 1986 and is an annual home run hitting competition in Major League Baseball usually held the day before the MLB All-Star Game. This year's Derby, as well as most years, will be held on a Monday.
