What Are The Odds to Win - Men's 200m Freestyle - Swimming - Paris Olympics
David Popovici of Romania comes in as the -240 favorite to win the Men's 200m Freestyle Swimming gold medal.
He is a former world record holder in the long course 100-metre freestyle and the current junior world record holder in the long course 200-metre freestyle.
At the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, Popovici won gold medals in his two signature events. During the summer of 2022, he dominated by recording 13 of the 19-fastest swims in the world that year, while also becoming only the third swimmer in history to set an under 1:43 time in the long course 200-metre freestyle.
Lukas Martens (GER) comes in with the next shortest odds paying $550 on a $100 bet with a win while Matt Richards (GBR) would pay out $850 on a $100 bet.
