What Are The Odds to Win - Women's Individual Archery - Paris Olympics

Lim Sihyeon may be a "lock" to win the Women's Individual Archery gold at this summer's Paris Olympics.

A "lock"?  But don't "locks" come with high price tags?

Not here.  Sihyeon pays $170 on a $100 bet.  The next shortest odds were coming in at 11-1 for Nam Suhyeon (KOR).

There are a lot of women to choose from in this category but it is indeed rare for someone listed outside the top 3 on the odds board to upset.

Korea lost the men’s and women’s team finals during the morning session of the 2024 Hyundai Archery World Cup in Shanghai  in April.

“I was bad in the morning but I was good in the afternoon,” said Sihyeon, who has now won three of the four circuit stages in which she has competed in her short international career.

“I’m frustrated about the team and mixed team results. But I did my best. I played well and I got the individual win. I focused on my shots and performed better. I’m happy to win a World Cup gold medal again here in Shanghai.”
