Keely Hodgkinson is the -320 favorite to win the Women's 800m in Track and Field at the 2024 Paris Summer Olympics.
Hodgkinson is an English middle-distance runner specialising in the 800 metres. At the age of 19, she won the silver medal at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics, breaking the British record set by Kelly Holmes in 1995.
Hodgkinson has said she was glad to make it through her 800-metre heat as she eyes gold at her second Olympic Games.
"I don't really like heats. They're not my favourite. They always feel so uncomfortable," Hodgkinson told reporters afterward. "I was just glad to qualify. I feel like the girls have really stepped it up because looking at my heats, I was like, 'it's quite tough actually for a heat.'
"I dunno what the time was, so I'm just glad to make it."
Mary Moraa (KEN) does have the second shortest odds paying $370 for every $100 bet.
Moraa is a Kenyan athlete who specialises in the 800 metres. She won the gold medal at the 2023 World Athletics Championships, a bronze medal in the event at the 2022 World Athletics Championships and a gold at the 2022 Commonwealth Games. Moraa is the Kenyan record holder for the 400 metres.
