  • Diamondbacks are hot right now but face a hungry Paul Skenes who is without a win over his last two starts.

Diamondbacks @ Pirates

We lost with our Diamondbacks pick Saturday night as Arizona is one of the hotter teams right now but couldn't get the job done in Pittsburgh following a win Friday night.

They'll take on Paul Skenes as a +125 dog.

Paul Skenes struck out six over six two-run innings — one of those runs earned — in a no-decision versus the Astros on Monday.  He suffered his first loss the start prior to that one, thus we anticipate Skenes to have his A-Game coming into Sunday.

Arizona is still 7-3 over the last ten games in this series.

Orioles @ Guardians

The Guardians are among the hottest teams right now.

Cleveland Guardians career statistics vs. Corbin Burnes are just .211 in a relatively small sampling of 38 at bats.

Burnes is more than capable of pitching through the 6th inning.

Gavin Williams limited the Tigers to two hits over five innings and struck out eight in the Guardians’ 5-0 shutout on Tuesday.   He allowed three runs in a loss his prior start.

Royals @ Tigers

Alex Faedo, a Tigers reliever, is starting for the Tigers Sunday.  We already knew that Detroit's career statistics vs. Michael Wacha in 68 tries are .338.

Six of eight in this series have gone into double digit scoring.

Detroit has permitted five or more runs in seven of their last eight games and the Royals can score runs.  Six of their last ten we've seen five or more runs scored.

Focus in on the Over here.
