  • A hungry Paul Skenes should be on fire today as he hasn't picked up a win over his last two starts.
  • We now know who is starting for Detroit but, unless Alex Faedo can pitch deep, there is a good chance KC could score a lot here.
  • Detroit has performed well against the Royals starter, Michael Wacha, too.

Paul Skenes Makes Pittsburgh a Top Team

Arizona will take on Paul Skenes as a +125 dog.

We have the Diamondbacks sit among the Gambling911.com Top 10 daily MLB rankings at the moment but and the Pirates not quite making the cut but any time they place Paul Skenes out on the mound, this easily becomes a top 10 club.

Skenes struck out six over six two-run innings — one of those runs earned — in a no-decision versus the Astros on Monday.  He suffered his first loss the start prior to that one, thus we anticipate Skenes to have his A-Game coming into Sunday.

Arizona is still 7-3 over the last ten games in this series.

Top capper at the G911 Sports Hub Ryan Davis is backing Arizona here but this is far from a consensus play.

Royals @ Tigers Total is 8.5 With 6 of Last in Series Going Into Double Digits

Alex Faedo, a Tigers reliever, is starting for the Tigers Sunday.  We already knew that Detroit's career statistics vs. Michael Wacha in 68 tries are .338.

Six of eight in this series have gone into double digit scoring.

Detroit has permitted five or more runs in seven of their last eight games and the Royals can score runs.  Six of their last ten we've seen five or more runs scored.

The total here is 8.5 so it is quite enticing for us to jump all over (no pun intended).
