Two of the hottest MLB handicappers are backing the Oakland Athletics Monday, but is that a wise bet?

Among the G911 Sports Hub top cappers picking Oakland:

Gino Russo:

Building the future, one blueprint at a time.

From Duluth, Gino Russo shapes the world as a civil engineer, blending passion and precision. His work, inspired by the dynamism of the Minnesota Timberwolves, aims to elevate structures and spirits alike. With every project, Gino crafts not just buildings, but experiences. Engineering dreams into reality.

And the man who sits atop the leader board, Bill Blatt:

Crafting cultures where every player feels like an MVP.

Bill from Boulder, bringing a fresh perspective to HR in sports. My approach is about creating environments where talent thrives, regardless of the jersey they wear. It's about championing a supportive culture across the board.

Oakland has played well of late, winning six of their last ten games and they are 16-10 since the start of July. The Athletics are hitting .252 BA/.331 OBP/.427 SLG/.759 OPS since the All-Star break.  They are scoring 4.4 runs per game (3.9 in the first half) and its team ERA is down about 0.75 points.

The Rays have not been hitting well against righties this season.

Taj Bradley starts for Tampa Bay while Joe Boyle takes to the mound for Oakland.  Bradley has allowed 15 runs in his last three starts, losing all three games. His road ERA is 1.67 points higher than his home ERA.

We also get the A's at a good price of +110.

Twins vs. Padres Under 7.5

Another hot play today is on the total in the Minnesota Twins vs. San Diego Padres game with that number being 7.5.

San Diego starter Michael King has had seven consecutive strong outings, allowing a total of nine earned runs in 41.2 innings pitched.  The Twins have just five hits in 27 at bats against him.

Zebby Matthews allowed two earned runs over five innings while striking out five in Tuesday’s win over the Royals.
