Larry Johnson Redskins

The Washington Redskins would pay out $5000 for every $100 bet should they go on to win the 2011 Super Bowl at betED.com (see website here)

On Friday it was announced that Larry Johnson had been signed to the team.

Johnson had several stellar seasons with the Kansas City Chiefs, including back-to-back 1,700 yard years in 2005 and 2006.

Johnson's contract base value is $3.5 million, but Johnson could make as much as $12 million if he meets certain incentives.

Johnson joins Clinton Portis in what should make for an intriguing backfield dynamic under new coach Mike Shanahan.

Most online sportsbooks had taken odds down on the 2011 Super Bowl Friday.  betED.com still had them up.
