Georgia Tech paid out $365 for every $100 bet after stunning Florida State in Dublin, Ireland Saturday.  And what a start to the 2024 college football season.

WHAT WAS AT STAKE?

Eight months after getting left out of the College Football Playoff, Florida State began its quest to repeat as Atlantic Coast Conference champion and land a guaranteed spot in the expanded, 12-team playoff. The Seminoles had won 12 consecutive league games since losing to Clemson on Oct. 15, 2022.

DJ Uiagalelei made his debut with his third college on Saturday when No. 10 Florida State takes on Georgia Tech at Aviva Stadium in Dublin, Ireland.

But it was Aiden Burr who stepped up and won the game for Georgia Tech with the game tied, the clock down to zero and a made field goal.

Georgia Tech pulled off the stunner to No. 10 ranked Florida State with a 24-21 win in Week 0.

The Yellow Jackets had four offensive linesman returning for this season and its stayed close throughout.

There are 17 new transfers on the FSU roster.

Georgia Tech was only expected to win 4.5 regular season games according to oddsmakers.
