Our longtime friend Tim Williams appeared on Fox Business with Neil Cavuto following Tuesday night's debate between Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

The betting company he represents, BetUS, offered dozens of prop bets ahead of that debate, including a longshot prop of Harris and Trump shaking hands.  That bet won.

Of course they also offer odds on who the next U.S. president will be.  Following the debate, Harris was now up to -130, Trump -110.

More than 67 million watched Tuesday's debate.

No other debates are currently scheduled between the two presidential candidates with the exception of the vice presidential debate between Tim Walz and JD Vance.

"We've been doing election betting for probably 20 years but we've never really seen anything close to this level of interest," Williams told Cavuto.

"Tuesday's debate was not what Trump supporters were hoping for," Williams added.  A graphic appearing on the Fox Business screen showed Harris had initially been favored before Trump regained favorite status the days ahead of Tuesday's debate.  She was now up a point on Thursday.

"It (the debate) did bring in a surge of new money, bets on Harris."

Williams did note that, over the last 24 hours, Trump has recovered significantly.
